Open to candidates who come from industrial retail who have customer service experience! Responsibilities include developing a working rapport with our national customer base, working strategically with customers, peers, and management, reviewing customer requests and providing quotes to match requirements, following up via email and phone to determine if quotes have been won or lost, receiving and entering customer orders accurately, coordinating shipping to meet customer expectations, collaborating with Production Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Accounting departments throughout the quoting and order processes, reviewing and resolving customer issues that may arise, and committing to daily learning and putting in 100% effort. Essential skills include strong computer skills with an emphasis on using Excel and Microsoft Office, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent phone call etiquette, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additional skills and qualifications include previous experience with ERP systems, ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, some mechanical aptitude, basic math knowledge with some geometrical functions, college, community college degree, or online classes (certificate) is a plus but not required, enthusiasm, self-confidence, and a positive attitude, high school diploma or equivalent experience is required, and dispatch experience preferred but not required. Work environment is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves using various technologies including SAP, Microsoft Office, and RF scanners. It is important to be customer service-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. Job type and location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Lodi, CA. Pay range for this position is $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
