A leading global financial services firm to hire a Director Outside Business Activities within their Employee Compliance team. This is a high-visibility leadership role overseeing outside business activities, private investments, and political and charitable contributions across the Americas. The position is hybrid with only one day per week in the office.

You’ll lead a team responsible for identifying and managing employee conflicts of interest, serve as the subject-matter expert for the program, and partner closely with Compliance, Legal, HR, and senior business stakeholders. This role also offers exposure to regulatory exams, policy enhancements, and team development.

Ideal for a compliance professional looking for a flexible hybrid schedule only 1 day in office per week, leadership responsibility, and strong cross-functional impact.

Overview

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for conducting due diligence, analysis, and recommendations related to employee conflicts of interest
  • Direct and oversee team workflow, including assignment, monitoring, and quality review of work
  • Partner closely with business leadership, Compliance, Legal, and Human Resources to support effective management of outside business activities and contributions
  • Oversee the team’s role in charitable contribution reviews and political contribution testing
  • Manage ad hoc and periodic testing related to political contributions for covered employees
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Manage internal audits and regulatory examinations
