Role Summary
Location: Alexandria, VA
Office Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $75,000 - $98,000

Addison Group is a highly respected and mission-driven organization in the DMV area seeking an individual experienced with corporate and nonprofit tax filings, including Forms 1120 and 990T, with a strong grasp of tax regulations and UBIT.
Responsibilities
- Prepare workpapers for federal and state business income tax filings, including apportionment and tax models.
- Maintain detailed documentation for IRS Form 990T, 1120 filings, and overhead allocation schedules.
- Collect and compile K-1 investment data and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Generate financial reports and saved searches using NetSuite.
- Research complex tax positions and recommend best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather internal data and improve tax processes.
- Forecast and manage estimated tax payments; administer online tax accounts.
- Prepare tax-related General Ledger journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in deferred tax asset accounting and policy development.
- Stay up to date on changes in tax laws, forms, and accounting standards.
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years in Finance/Accounting or business modeling roles.
- Experience preparing and supporting business tax filings (1120, 990T).
- Familiarity with for-profit and nonprofit tax compliance.
- Experience using financial systems like NetSuite & Adaptive Planning.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration.
