Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Director, Portfolio Insights & Analysis to be located in our Raritan, NJ location.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead global insights with a center of excellence approach that generates strategic insights for the J&J Innovative Medicine portfolio in the context of the Long‑Range Financial Plan (LRFP), 10‑year outlook, and Business Plan (BP).
- Continue development of a technology roadmap (with platform like Signal, Margo) and integrate emerging AI capabilities to efficiently develop strategic insights about our global portfolio in partnership with TAs.
- Develop a Global Insights Roadmap and playbook in partnership with Commercialization Excellence to uncover customer insights that support next wave of innovation in our clinical pipeline.
- Co‑lead the GCSO Insights and Analytics forum in partnership with the TA teams.
- Support long‑term forecasts with market insights during enterprise planning processes, e.g. Long‑Range Financial Plan (LRFP) and Business Plan (BP).
- Develop and deliver in‑depth analysis and strategic insights into the J&J IM pipeline/portfolio for senior management meetings (including GOC and GCSO SLT).
- Optimize the portfolio's value through robust assessment (insights and analytics) to drive strategic decision‑making.
- Support GOC & GCSO strategic initiatives with PICS Strategy and Business Development team, as needed.
- Co‑lead ongoing build of portfolio strategy analytics capability in PICS.
- Support reviews for senior management meetings (including GOC and GCSO SLT), consolidation, scenarios/analysis, facilitate GCSO connectivity with regions and IMSC functions.
- Introduce use cases/pilots that leverage new/advanced analytics techniques to address key portfolio questions.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree in business, quantitative, or life sciences preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Analytics and Insights roles including forecasting, market research, competitive intelligence, or another related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership roles that required developing and driving commercial strategy and working with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority. Broad understanding of pharmaceutical industry R&D, including clinical development, regulatory strategy, and competitive dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3‑5 years of experience leading, executing and delivering primary market research projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of the key scientific, clinical, regulatory and commercial processes.
- Experience in pharmaceutical asset valuation and pre‑launch planning.
- Experience in portfolio insights, analysis, and/or strategy.
- Ability to build and defend arguments and influence others through effective spoken and written communications.
- Functional experience in applying behavioral science and market research in drug development or long‑term strategic planning.
- A demonstrated ability to lead multiple priorities and work independently.
- The ability to partner and influence without authority with leaders at all levels globally and locally.
- Strong leadership and the ability to operate in a Credo‑based, ethical manner.
Compensation
The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $150,000.00 – $258,750.00.
Benefits
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado – 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period (10 days)
- Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
- Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year
