is a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance that enables the Sales & Business Development team to achieve their annual business development key performance indicators and AMPS metrics-Assortment, Merchandising, Promotion, and Shelving. Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois, the

also know internally as a Customer Marketing Manager ,

is an individual contributor position the becomes the "Voice of Sales" internally and is "Voice of the Brand" to our Retailers, Brokers, and Distributors.

The ideal


Marketing Manager

will have at least 5 years of progressive experience specifically within the fast-moving consumer packaged goods industry, extensive experience with IRI and/or Nielsen data, and a Bachelor's Degree.

Using data to provide insight, analytics, and analysis to facilitate new item distribution forecasts by channel (Grocery, Convenience, Dollar, etc)Partner with Business Development team, Marketing team, and external Retailers, Brokers, and Distributors to drive Sales plans around the 4 P's (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion)From the corporate office, develop plans for AMPS- Assortment, Merchandising, Promotion, and ShelvingAssist in planning, development, and presentation of sales and brand materials at key meetings, trade shows, and industry functionsUnderstand the needs, motivations, and priorities of both the Sales team and the Marketing team, becoming the "Voice of Sales" internally and the "Voice of the Brand" to Retailers, Brokers, and DistributorsDevelopment of high-quality and fact-based Selling Stories and Ready-To-Sell (RTS) materialsUnderstand market and category performance (candy, gummi, sugar, etc) through data, identify opportunities to improve national promotionsQualifications

5+ years of progressive experience specifically within the FMCPG industry (fast-moving consumer packaged goods)Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldPrior experience working with IRI and/or Nielsen data or related syndicated dataAbility to travel up to 10% of the time with some overnight staysProficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience creating and delivering formal presentations to decision makersPreferred Qualifications

Prior experience the candy, confectionery, snack, or related consumer goods industryPrior experience working directly for the CPG/Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturerPrior experience in sales and business development rolesDemonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and in writingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills, attention to detailDemonstrated ability to partner successfully with other internal teams
