Position Summary:

The Golf Course Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all equipment used on the golf course, including mowers, tractors, other small engines, pumps, sprinklers, carts, pathways and other aspects of the Golf Course. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical repair, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that all equipment functions efficiently and safely to support the maintenance of the course.

Essential Job Functions Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engines. Perform repairs and maintenance of pumps, sprinklers, walkways and other common area items throughout the golf course. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and repair methods. Sharpen and adjust mower blades to ensure optimal performance and turf health. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and part replacements. Manage inventory of parts and supplies for repair and maintenance. Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and properly stored after use. Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and avoid breakdowns. Work closely with the golf course superintendent and grounds crew to ensure all machinery is operational and meets the course's maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment..

Experience and Education:

2 + years' experience in maintenance or other similar golf related roles

Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
