About the Role
The Company is a global leader in sustainable construction and environmental infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on engineering innovation, sustainability, and long-term infrastructure resilience. They are currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide support across the Americas region. This mid-level role is ideal for a business-minded legal professional who can balance risk with practical, commercially driven solutions. The successful candidate will be a key legal partner to regional leadership, working closely with teams across various functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Legal Counsel include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, leading negotiations on complex deal structures, and managing corporate governance activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, as well as supporting initiatives related to data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school, active membership with at least one U.S. state bar, and 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in commercial contracting, corporate law, and business transactions. Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors, and bilingual abilities in Spanish or Portuguese, are strongly preferred.
