10-month contract What's a typical day as a Customer Service Representative? You will: Communicate with customers by phone or in person to provide information about products or services, process orders, cancel accounts, and address inquiries or complaints. Deliver essential services such as license, registration, title, permit, or program eligibility information. Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are resolved and the appropriate changes are made. Accurately document customer interactions and transactions, including all inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken. Resolve customer service or billing concerns by exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills as necessary. Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, and process service discontinuance orders via computer systems. Refer unresolved grievances to the appropriate departments for further investigation. Determine service charges, collect deposits or payments, and arrange for billing. Contact customers to provide updates regarding claim investigations or any required adjustments. Exercise discretion in handling sensitive information and complex complaints. Conduct research, compile and analyze information, and apply policies to resolve customer issues. Handle and reconcile cash receipts, prepare daily deposits, and transmit funds to the appropriate offices. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: Previous customer service, call center, or office experience (preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills Proficiency using computers for data entry and documentation High school diploma or GED (required) Experience handling and reconciling cash is a plus What happens next:
