
Director of Quality Assurance (Bergen County)

Our client in Bergen County, NJ, is seeking a Quality Assurance Director for their growing operations. The QA Director will lead global quality operations and ensure excellence across manufacturing, product development, and supply chain activities. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to oversee quality through the lifecycle of the product.
Responsibilities: Lead the global quality strategy and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards. Oversee QMS development, implementation, and continuous improvement. Manage audits, non‑conformances, CAPA processes, and root cause investigations. Track quality metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends. Direct global supplier and vendor quality programs. Lead investigations, complaint handling, and regulatory reporting. Mentor and develop quality leaders and operational teams. Ensure readiness for inspections and support product launches across international markets.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s or certifications preferred). 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience, ideally in personal care, consumer health, dietary supplements or related field. Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, and global regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional and global teams. Expertise in audits, CAPA, risk management, and data‑driven quality systems. Skilled in QMS software, ERP systems, and analytics. Strong communication, leadership presence, and strategic problem‑solving abilities. Spanish language skills a plus.
