Shipping And Receiving Coordinator

Responsible for accurate and timely account of shipping parts and materials to customers and vendors. Responsibilities: Works in a safe manner at all times. Prepares and ships customer orders in a timely manner and ensures accuracy and quality of products being shipped. Reports any discrepancies in quantity, quality, early or late shipment incorrect items of items received versus purchase orders to the purchasing department. Processes necessary receiving paperwork and prepares a list of receipts for inventory control. Informs Quality Control or Purchasing Departments of items shipping or received that may not meet Trail King standards. Prepares items for proper shipment. Prepares and ships all returns for Production and Sourcing. Learns and remains aware of regulations concerning and governing proper shipping, domestic & international. Inputs information into computer in regard to Trail King's inventory control program as well as programs used for UPS and Fed Ex. Assists in functions of the Parts Sales Department when needed. Assumes additional responsibilities as needed. Candidate Requirements: Ability to communicate with suppliers, parts sales, purchasing, production, engineering sales and other management personnel as needed in a tactful and courteous manner. Must possess excellent written skills and computer literate. Must be able to prioritize work tasks with little supervision. Ability to complete in-house powered industrial truck training program and comply with all OSHA requirements. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job in the factory areas, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
