Director of Development, UNM Hospitals & UNM Children’s Hospital

The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Development to support philanthropic growth for UNM Hospitals and UNM Children’s Hospital. This position plays a critical role in advancing strategic fundraising priorities, deepening donor engagement, and partnering with Hospital leadership to build a culture of philanthropy that strengthens health care for communities across New Mexico.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing major gifts, managing a donor portfolio, and building strong, long-term relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and initiative.

Other Information/Requirements:

Candidates should possess experience using CRM systems for donor management, maintain strong organizational skills, and hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel for donor meetings and events.
