Klamath Indigenous Land Trust is a tribally led land trust working to return, protect, and steward lands in the Klamath Basin for the benefit of tribal communities, fish and wildlife, and future generations. KILT advances land back, conservation, and restoration guided by traditional ecological knowledge and local leadership.
KILT seeks a collaborative, mission-driven Executive Director to lead land acquisition, stewardship, fundraising, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead land acquisition and conservation partnerships
- Work closely with tribal board leadership
- Build fundraising strategy and donor relationships
- Oversee operations, finance, and staff
- Guide organization toward Land Trust Alliance accreditation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in land conservation, cultural preservation, or related fields
- Strong leadership, communication, and fundraising skills
- Experience working with or for Tribes strongly preferred
Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 plus healthcare stipend
