Radiography Program Director Description
South College Asheville is seeking a Radiology Program Director to join the Radiology Department. This position is on ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula. Maintain student data and analyze for retention rates, credential pass rate, employer/student surveys. Oversee program accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Collaborate with the clinical coordinator to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of clinical affiliations Maintain program budget and fiscal resources for program administration Participate in department activities, including committee meetings, curriculum discussion, student solutions management, and other service activities. Provide didactic instruction in the program each quarter Requirements
Education
Hold a minimum of a master's degree Experience
Minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiography Minimum of two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program Have experience in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising Certification
Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Experience with JRCERT accreditation strongly preferred
