Customer Service Representative – In Office/Hybrid position
Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS), a division of GEMCORE, is a national direct-to-home medical supply provider. We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our high-energy team. The primary role is to answer incoming calls while focusing on customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, non-exempt, entry-level position located in Hudson, OH. After training, this position may transition to a hybrid remote work schedule. Schedule is 8:15 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Employer-paid vacation and paid holidays. Treat both new and existing customers like a family member. Receive and route all incoming telephone calls and emails. Set up new customer accounts for medical products and services (e.g., diabetes supplies, breast pumps). Obtain insurance, referrals, physician, and patient demographic information. Enter and manage all refill orders for existing customers. Core Competencies
Excellent verbal and computer skills with the ability to communicate with customers and prospects for most of the workday. Ability to explain health insurance plan information clearly. Ability to learn products and receive training through virtual methods. At least 1+ year of experience in a customer service organization or healthcare environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Word processing speed around 40 WPM. Detail-oriented. Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Education/Experience
