About the Role
As an Intelligize Legal Field Client Manager, you will own a defined portfolio of AMLAW (Large Law), Small Law, and Academic accounts. You are responsible for driving product adoption, expanding subscription value, strengthening client relationships, and managing renewals for your assigned accounts. This is a relationship-driven, consultative role focused on ensuring clients fully leverage their Intelligize subscription to support SEC compliance, transactional drafting, research efficiency, and classroom instruction. You will act as the primary point of contact for your accounts and will be responsible for positioning Intelligize as a mission-critical workflow solution across corporate, securities, capital markets, M&A, governance, and academic research functions.
Responsibilities:
Account Ownership & Renewals
Own and manage all renewal activity for assigned AMLAW, Small Law, and Academic accounts
Execute proactive account plans designed to secure renewals, mitigate risk, and drive long-term retention
Lead renewal conversations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations in coordination with internal stakeholders
Identify expansion opportunities including additional seats, practice group adoption, and cross-campus deployment
Product Adoption & Engagement
Increase platform usage and engagement across assigned accounts through proactive outreach and strategic touchpoints
Develop adoption plans tailored to practice areas such as corporate, securities, capital markets, M&A, and governance
Deliver customized training sessions, workshops, and webinars to drive deeper platform utilization
Monitor account health metrics and usage trends to identify both risk and opportunity
Educational Support
Develop and promote programs that highlight SEC trends, transactional market insights, and drafting best practices using Intelligize
Conduct on-site and virtual presentations for attorneys, knowledge management teams, and academic faculty
Support academic accounts with classroom demonstrations and research instruction
Partner with marketing and product teams to align educational content with current regulatory and transactional trends
Relationship Management
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including practice group leaders, securities partners, KM directors, librarians, deans, faculty, and firm administrators
Navigate complex law firm structures and academic institutions to expand influence and increase subscription value
Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on leveraging market data and precedent analytics to support client work
Sales Excellence & Operational Discipline
Maintain accurate pipeline, renewal forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce
Leverage sales enablement tools (e.g., Gong, Seismic, Outreach) to drive engagement strategy
Provide structured client feedback to Product and Leadership teams to inform roadmap and market positioning
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to maximize client lifetime value
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred
Significant experience in B2B SaaS, legal technology, or professional services sales
Demonstrated success managing renewals and expanding complex accounts, particularly within AMLAW or professional services environments
Strong executive presence with the ability to present to partners, faculty, C-suite stakeholders, and knowledge leaders
Experience conducting client trainings or CLE programs preferred
Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close renewals in a consultative, relationship-driven environment
Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Gong, Seismic, Outreach)
Ability to travel up to 40% (including day and overnight travel)

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Home based-Ohio $70,400 - $130,800. Total Target Cash Range: $108,200 - $201,000. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $74,100 - $137,600, Total Target Cash Range: $113,900 - $211,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
