Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Architect to provide technical ownership and leadership for our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise priorities. This role defines solution architecture, establishes platform standards, and enables consistent delivery across internal teams and implementation partners.
This position is a hands-on execution leader who partners closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and external vendors to translate priorities into well-designed solutions and drive work through completion. The Salesforce Architect removes delivery roadblocks, ensures high-quality releases, and maintains strong operational discipline across platform design, configuration, development, automation, integrations, and release governance.
In addition to delivery execution, this role strengthens architectural maturity through clear patterns, reusable standards, strong documentation, and consistent governance. The Salesforce Architect is accountable for platform health and delivery outcomes, with a focus on speed, consistency, reliability, and long-term supportability as Salesforce continues to scale across the organization.

Solution Architecture and Delivery Execution Own end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce, ensuring designs are executable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned to platform standards. Establish and enforce platform standards and reference patterns across: Configuration, metadata, and naming conventions Automation strategy and guardrails Development of standards and code quality Environment strategy and release discipline Create and maintain architecture artifacts that drive clarity and execution, including: Reference architectures and solution patterns Systems models and workflow diagrams Data model standards and documentation Architecture decision records and design guidelines Validate solution compliance to standards and confirm delivered capabilities align with architectural intent. Own Salesforce data model strategy, ensuring object design, relationships, and data integrity rules support both current execution and future scale. Ensure architecture supports reporting reliability, analytics readiness, and consistent operational outcomes. Integration Architecture and Cross-System Alignment
Define integration patterns and standards that connect Salesforce to enterprise systems. Partner with the integration team to ensure stable connectivity, clear ownership boundaries, and reliable operations, including monitoring and error handling. Ensure cross-system designs avoid duplicated logic and enable consistent business process execution across platforms. Security, Compliance, and Risk Management
Own Salesforce security architecture standards, including sharing model, roles, permission sets, and data visibility controls. Partner with security stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise security requirements and audit expectations. Proactively identify architecture risks and drive mitigation plans that prevent production instability and rework. Vendor Leadership and Partner Oversight
Provide technical direction and oversight to consulting partners and external delivery teams. Review partner solution designs and implementation work to ensure quality, scalability, maintainability, and standards compliance. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of overall IT experience, including: 6+ years designing and delivering distributed systems, integrations, or middle-tier solutions 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience (configuration, data model, automation, security, and delivery leadership) 4+ years in Solution Architecture, Salesforce Architecture, or comparable technical leadership roles Proven ability to lead architecture across multiple initiatives, while driving execution to deliver business value. Strong technical depth in: Salesforce platform architecture and configuration standards Data modeling, validation strategy, and lifecycle governance Automation patterns and Flow strategy Security and access model design Custom development concepts (Apex, APIs, async processing, where applicable) Demonstrated experience designing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems using APIs and middleware/iPaaS patterns. Strong ability to analyze complex cross-system issues and drive resolution through collaboration and architectural clarity. Strong documentation discipline, including producing and maintaining technical design artifacts, standards, and architecture diagrams. Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with strong release governance and operational readiness discipline. Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, Platform Developer I or II. Experience leading at least one end-to-end Salesforce implementation, including integrations with enterprise systems. Experience supporting continued maintenance of a Salesforce implementation, including change requests, optimizations, and new feature delivery. Familiarity with DevOps and release tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, Git-based CI/CD). Experience in regulated or control-driven environments (ITGC, PCI, HIPAA, or similar), and comfort with change control and traceability.
