Senior SQL Server Database Administrator
for an onsite opportunity in the Columbia, SC area. The candidate will manage and support a large-scale SQL Server environment, focusing on database administration, reporting, business intelligence, and modernization initiatives. This role will lead migration efforts to SQL Server 2022 while providing production support, performance optimization, and collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.
Required Qualifications of the Senior SQL Server Database Administrator:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator 5+ years of experience with SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2022 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 5+ years of experience using SQL Reports Designer 5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools and dashboard/report design 2+ years of experience supporting state government agencies Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred
Skills/Experience
of the Senior SQL Server Database Administrator:
Experience with Data Domain Boost (DD Boost) for backup and restore operations Familiarity with Oracle 19 Database and Oracle Grid Control Experience with ERwin Data Modeler Responsibilities of the Senior SQL Server Database Administrator:
Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning Lead migration of SQL Server databases from 2019 to 2022 and implement high-availability solutions Develop, support, and maintain SSRS reports, SSIS packages, and SSAS cubes Collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts on database design and optimization Support production activities, including OS/security updates and troubleshooting, potentially outside normal business hours Develop and maintain logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and documentation using ERwin Work Location:
Fully onsite in the Columbia, SC area. Candidates local to South Carolina or North Carolina who can commute five days per week will be given priority.
