JUNIOR ESTIMATOR
Construction Site Development
We're seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our growing site development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction estimating and project management.
What You'll Do:
Assist in preparing cost estimates for site development projects including earthwork, utilities, grading, and paving
Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs using digital tools and software
Obtain and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes
Support senior estimators in bid preparation and proposal development
Maintain cost databases and historical project information
Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0-2 years of estimating or construction experience
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
Familiarity with estimating software (HeavyBid, HCSS, or similar) is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Willingness to learn and grow in the construction industry
