The Role:

Mid-State Industrial Maintenance is building a scalable industrial services platform designed for long-term growth, operational discipline, and strategic expansion. We are seeking an Executive Vice President, Growth & Platform Strategy to serve as a senior enterprise leader responsible for shaping how the company grows, differentiates, and scales across markets, service lines, and acquisitions.

This is a CEO-caliber strategic role, not a traditional marketing position. The EVP will operate as the enterprise growth architect, partnering directly with the CEO to define the company’s platform strategy and translate vision into executable enterprise direction. The successful candidate will influence commercial strategy, brand positioning, talent narrative, and acquisition integration while working alongside operational leadership in a field-driven environment.

This role is structured as a succession pathway toward enterprise growth leadership as the platform continues to scale.

About Mid-State:

Mid-State Industrial Maintenance delivers maintenance, turnaround, fabrication, and embedded workforce solutions across heavy industry. Backed by private equity and entering a new phase of platform expansion, the company is focused on disciplined growth, acquisition integration, and building a differentiated industrial services brand grounded in operational credibility and workforce culture.

What You Will Do: Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to define Mid-State’s enterprise growth model. Establish market segmentation, vertical strategy, service-line packaging, and long-term differentiation that drives scalable expansion across organic growth and M&A.

Strategic Market Positioning Lead the development of a clear and credible market narrative that reflects Mid-State’s industrial expertise and growth ambitions. Ensure consistent messaging across executive communications, recruiting, commercial engagement, and brand architecture.

Commercial Enablement at the Enterprise Level Provide strategic frameworks that enable Commercial leadership to execute effectively. Define positioning, target account logic, pricing philosophy, and market priorities while maintaining strong partnership and clear boundaries with the sales organization.

Acquisition Growth Integration Work alongside Corporate Development and Operations to shape growth-focused integration strategies. Establish Day-1 messaging, go-to-market alignment, and platform adoption frameworks that accelerate value creation from acquisitions.

Build a disciplined approach to market penetration that prioritizes digital demand generation, targeted campaigns, and scalable lead development aligned with platform priorities.

Talent Narrative & Culture Alignment Help shape Mid-State’s employer brand and leadership narrative in partnership with HR, reinforcing workforce development, craft pride, and a culture grounded in operational excellence.

Technology as a Growth Lever Influence CRM, analytics, and digital platform priorities from a growth and commercial perspective, ensuring technology investments support real market differentiation and scalable execution.

Serve as a senior thought partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. Help align Commercial, Operations, HR, M&A, and Technology around a unified platform strategy and long-term growth roadmap.

Who You Are

A systems thinker who prioritizes clarity, alignment, and scalable frameworks over tactical marketing execution
