Overview

Join Gallagher's Small Business Team and make a difference for businesses with over 10 employees. This full-time, hybrid role based out of our Sacramento, CA office is all about building relationships, guiding clients through their benefits journey, and delivering tailored solutions. You'll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and innovation.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for your clients, helping them navigate their employee benefits programs. You'll lead renewal processes, analyze proposals, and present solutions that meet their needs. Using tools like Excel and PowerPoint, you'll create impactful deliverables efficiently. You'll also identify opportunities to introduce additional Gallagher services, such as retirement planning or HR consulting. Whether it's resolving client concerns or conducting presentations, your work will directly contribute to their success and satisfaction.

Here's what else you'll do: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Manage client renewals and open enrollment processes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and professional service. Stay updated on industry trends and challenges in small business benefits. About You

Here's what you'll bring to the role:

A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of client coordination or claims management experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of experience. Health & Life licensing The ability to explain complex issues in simple terms, whether in meetings, calls, or emails. A knack for managing tasks and priorities effectively. A commitment to ethical behavior and professional standards. Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience. Life & Health License required. Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Behaviors: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to quickly determine critical issues.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
