
Job Title: Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Walnut Creek, CA Full-Time Pay Structure: $75,000 - $82,000/year About the Role: A growing insurance brokerage is seeking an Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to support its high-performing Commercial Lines team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in commercial insurance who’s eager to deepen their expertise and grow in a client-focused, team-oriented environment. This is a support and service-oriented role—not sales—designed for someone who values strong processes, attention to detail, and long-term client success. What You’ll Do: * Support a team managing 10–20 middle to large market accounts in industries such as real estate, development, and construction * Assist with renewals, endorsements, certificates, and client documentation * Help prepare proposals, presentations, and coverage comparisons for Account Managers and Producers * Maintain accurate records in Applied EPIC or similar agency systems * Serve as a liaison between carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery * Participate in coverage reviews and help gather information for marketing and placement * Learn to identify coverage gaps, client needs, and opportunities for risk mitigation Work Environment: * Full time in office in the Walnut Creek office * Collaborative team culture focused on mentorship, development, and career growth * Structured onboarding and hands-on training with experienced Account Managers * Opportunity to grow into more advanced roles within the firm What You Bring: * 2–4+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, ideally in a support or service capacity * Familiarity with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities * A client-focused mindset with professional communication skills * Experience with real estate, construction, or related industries * Property & Casualty license preferred, * Bachelor’s degree not required; training and mentorship are more important Why Join Us?
