Core Responsibilities
- Provide overall onsite leadership and supervision for multifamily construction projects from start to finish
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety programs
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid schedule delays or cost impacts
- Conduct daily site walks, coordination meetings, and progress reporting
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and ownership teams
- Maintain project documentation including daily logs, reports, inspections, and punch lists
- Lead project closeout activities and ensure successful turnover
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects
- Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily projects such as podium, wrap, or large apartment developments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and timelines
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with construction management software is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience
- Experience with projects valued at $20M+
- OSHA 30 certification
