**Video Producer**
Hybrid role, based in Birmingham, AL
We're looking for a creative and highly organized Video Producer to join the production team for "So True, Y'all" a viral sketch comedy series. You'll be responsible for working closely with the director to execute the creative vision for each sketch from pre-production to post-production. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for comedy and narrative storytelling.
The base salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 per year.
**What You'll Do**
+ Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
+ Collaborate with writers, directors, editors, and talent to bring scripts to life visually.
+ Contribute to pre-production logistics including scheduling, casting, location scouting, and equipment prep.
+ Post-production workflows including editing, color correction, and sound design.
+ Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone, style, and standards.
**What You Bring**
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in video production, preferably in comedy or digital media.
+ Ability to visually mimic various cinematic styles and genres for the sake of parody.
+ Strong proficiency with Canon Cinema Cameras (C300, C100), DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio gear.
+ Experience managing small crews.
+ Solid understanding of post-production processes and software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
+ Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
+ A sense of humor.
+ Experience producing content for social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), preferred
+ Background in sketch comedy, improv, or comedic storytelling, preferred.
+ Familiarity with motion graphics or animation, preferred.
+ Ability to edit and deliver polished content independently when needed, preferred.
