Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Porter role located in Houston, TX. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout assigned property, including lobbies, common areas, and surrounding grounds. Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and replacing supplies as needed. The Porter will also oversee light maintenance tasks, assist with seasonal duties like snow and ice removal or landscaping, and ensure the property is presentable and safe for residents and visitors. Additionally, the Porter may act as a gatekeeper when needed, handling residents' or visitors' inquiries and communicating any concerns to the property management team.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with residents and responding to inquiries
Experience as a Gatekeeper or in similar roles ensuring access control and property safety
Experience or willingness to participate in Training and Education to improve skills and maintain high standards
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
