Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role/hybrid for a Funeral Home Assistant, based in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. We also cover Orange County and Los Angeles as a whole. Responsibilities include assisting with funeral arrangements, coordinating services, and providing compassionate support to grieving families. The role involves maintaining the facility, organizing events, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. The Funeral Home Assistant will also assist in preparing for and overseeing services, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
Qualifications
Strong listening and effective interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and perform as an emcee when required
Excellent organization skills to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks efficiently
Compassion, professionalism, and the ability to offer empathetic support to grieving families
Basic computer skills and familiarity with administrative tasks
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in funeral services is a plus but not required
