Full-Time Retail Sales Associate
to join our Team! $10.00 to $13.00 per hour We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.94 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves engaging with customers, assisting with inquiries and problem resolution, and working with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Perform non-management open/close procedures.
Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
Answer incoming calls per company standards.
Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and work as a team to create a positive customer experience.
Complete assigned training and perform other related duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred
Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed
Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
Computer literate; able to operate POS systems

Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on personal performance. More details will be provided during the interview process.
