Business Analyst / Technical Writer

to assist our public health federal government customer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear technical requirement documents that guide our development team in crafting effective technical solutions. Your contributions will be vital for documenting and sharing information related to our Informatics Office projects and initiatives. This is a remote position; however, there may be occasional requirements to work on-site at the client's location in Atlanta, GA, depending on needs. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary interface between the Informatics Office and program teams to gather project requirements, acting as the liaison between technical teams and program stakeholders.

Create, draft, proofread, edit, and finalize a variety of documents, including SOPs, service agreements, technical documentation, project artifacts, white papers, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, minutes, and user training materials.

Ensure all documentation meets 508 accessibility and usability standards.

Establish and manage an electronic document library to store and submit deliverables to the Government.

Support tech leads with writing and documentation coordination.

Organize and facilitate project briefings, system demonstrations, proposal presentations, and training sessions.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in writing and editing technical documents.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Experience in simplifying technical content into plain language is highly preferred.

Familiarity with 508 compliance is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred experience with the CDC; candidates with current or recent CDC badges are highly regarded.

Ability to pass Federal background screening and obtain government clearance.

Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Education A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field is required.

Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer; may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation The projected annual salary for this position ranges from $64,000 to $70,000. This range serves as a guideline and may vary based on your experience, skills, education, and relevant factors. Benefits Eligibility for benefits may vary based on your employment status with Tanaq.
