
Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with serving as a dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture industries. Due to growth, we are currently hiring a Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative. The ideal candidate should have truck and/or equipment sales experience and a knowledge of the truck industry.
Responsibilities:
Generating and increasing sales of heavy duty trucks, including used, refurbished, and new trucks within their defined area of responsibility.
Providing a high‑quality level of service to both outside customers and internal departments.
Participating in trade shows and conventions while working in conjunction with other sales staff and our marketing team.
Attaining the sales and gross profit objectives set by their manager.
Calling on prospective customers and assigned accounts within the assigned territory.
Explaining features and demonstrating operation of vehicles in the showroom or on the road.
Computing and quoting sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance, and financing requirements.
Preparing sales orders and sales contracts.
Arranging for delivery and completing all warranty registrations for vehicles.
Maintaining a safe work environment.
Identifying and developing new opportunities for all TranSource product lines.
Continuously learning more about the industry, the company, and the products TranSource sells.
Completing assigned training in a timely manner.
Maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements:
Committed to 100% customer satisfaction.
Solid experience in call control, account development, time and territory management.
Strong aptitude for sales.
Preferred prior sales experience in the trucking or construction industry.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Strong customer‑expectation management.
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with all Microsoft Office products; efficient use of Outlook.
Insurable driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Valid driver’s license.
