Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. Pay: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. Earn commissions on transactions — up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.84 per hour on top of hourly rate. We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolves inquiries and problems. Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity; actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Performs sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; collaborates to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; some tasks may involve bending, climbing, and lifting in compliance with laws. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Ability to work at exterior locations or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas if required. Minimum Age: 18 years old High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
