Job Description – Sales Assistant – Medical Supply (2601444) Sales Assistant – Medical Supply – 2601444 Description JOB PURPOSE: The Sales Assistant – BioMedical – will play a key role in supporting the sales team by generating leads, assisting with business development, and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes. This position focuses on expanding our BioMedical customer base, particularly among non-affiliated nursing homes and long-term care facilities. The scope also includes growing our Shredding Business in the Atlanta market. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at our corporate headquarters in Norcross, GA, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct outbound calls to non-affiliated nursing homes and long-term care facilities to identify potential leads and qualify opportunities for BioMedical services and in-town Shredding prospects.

Generate and nurture leads through research, database management, and targeted outreach to support new business growth.

Assist sales representatives in preparing and executing competitive quotes, proposals, and contracts for prospective clients.

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).

Research market trends, competitor activities, and potential customers in the long-term care sector to inform sales strategies.

Prepare sales reports, presentations, and marketing materials to aid in client pitches and internal reviews.

Handle customer inquiries, resolve basic issues, and ensure timely communication to enhance client satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and operations, to align on business development goals.

Track sales metrics, monitor lead pipelines, and contribute to forecasting efforts for the BioMedical department.

Perform other duties as assigned to support overall sales objectives in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1-2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, ideally within the healthcare or long-term care industry.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally over the phone and via email.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a team-oriented environment.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and lead generation.

Knowledge of long-term care regulations and biomedical products is a plus.

Must be able to work hybrid schedule, including reliable transportation to the Norcross, GA corporate office
