Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Line Cook
to join the opening team of our new
Asian-inspired dining outlet
at Hawks Cay Resort. This role is ideal for a cook who is passionate about bold flavors, refined technique, and delivering elevated guest experiences in a high-end culinary environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations
Work across assigned stations (wok, grill, sauté, fryer, garde manger, etc.) with consistency and efficiency
Assist with preparation of stocks, sauces, marinades, and mise en place inspired by Asian culinary traditions
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
Collaborate closely with chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth service during high-volume periods
Properly handle, store, and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
Contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture that reflects the resort’s luxury standards
Support menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-end, hotel, or resort kitchen preferred
Knowledge of Asian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques (or strong interest in learning)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques
Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not required
