Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and culturally plugged-in Influencer Manager to lead creator partnerships across our spirits portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and executing influencer strategies that drive awareness, brand love, and advocacy — from cocktail culture and lifestyle storytelling to large-scale campaign amplification.

You’ll work with a creative, fast-paced marketing team to collaborate at the intersection of culture, social media, and brand storytelling — connecting our brands to the right voices and communities in authentic, engaging ways.

Must have experience in spirits, CPG, and/or lifestyle brands and have a passion for influencer relations & talent management across various sectors, including food and beverage, sports, entertainment, fashion, art, and all things pop culture.

This position would support brands across the full Proximo Spirits portfolio, including tequila, whiskey, mezcal, rum, and vodka.

Role & Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development:

Develop & lead influencer strategy across the portfolio, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and legal compliance. Be an expert in developing the right stories to tell for our brands and motivate and lead our Influencer agencies to create high-performing influencer content. Exhibit expertise in social trends and platform updates to adapt plans and capitalize on relevant opportunities.

Influencer & Agency Campaign Management:

Manage external influencer agency for end-to-end execution of paid and earned influencer campaigns, including strategy development, influencer selection, content creation, and performance reporting.

Paid Creator Content:

Oversee amplification strategies (whitelisting, dark posting, creator licensing, etc.) to extend content reach. Ensure creator and influencer content is optimized for paid.

Relationship Management:

Identify and cultivate relationships with creators who embody the brand’s values and tone — from established talent to emerging voices in spirits, culture, music, art, and lifestyle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Brand, PR, Events, and Paid Media teams to integrate influencer content into paid social and media plans, maximizing reach, engagement, and conversion.

Budget Management & Reporting:

Oversee annual influencer strategy, budgets, and performance KPIs — inclusive of paid amplification planning and spend optimization.

Planning/Organizing:

Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.

Innovation:

Displays original thinking and creativity for Influencer campaigns; Meets challenges with resourcefulness; Generates suggestions for improving work; Develops innovative approaches and ideas; Presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.

Business Acumen:

Understands business implications of decisions; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals.

External:

Agency Partners for the following disciplines: Influencer/PR/Social/Paid Media/Experiential & Influencer, Creator, and/or Talent Agents, Managers & Publicists

Knowledge and Experience

Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of Influencer Relations & Talent Management experience in the consumer lifestyle/spirits sector, with a strong ability to activate integrated campaigns across social, PR, and events at a national and local level.

Passionate about influencer marketing and social media, trends, and conversations in spirits, cocktails, and culture.

Must be a strategic planner and creative thinker with a strong vision and collaborative mindset

Demonstrate the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple projects.

Ability to work cross-functionally and lead external agencies

Familiar with creator & influencer platforms such as CreatorIQ, Influencer Intelligence, Celebrity Intelligence, DashSocial, and Julius.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage budgets, contracts, and cross-functional campaigns.

Experience working within highly regulated industries (spirits, alcohol, or CPG preferred).

The annual salary for this role is $100,000. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
