We’re seeking a well-rounded SEO Strategist to support and scale Domaine’s SEO practice. This role reports directly to the SEO Director and works closely with Strategy, Content, Design, and Engineering teams.

While this role requires strong fundamentals across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and performance analysis, it will place a greater emphasis on content strategy and search intent to ensure SEO programs are holistic, scalable, and aligned to business goals. You’ll help ensure SEO recommendations are holistic, actionable, and aligned to broader business and brand goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for ecommerce clients, spanning technical foundations, on-page optimization, content strategy, and performance measurement

Partner with the SEO Director to translate insights into clear, prioritized SEO roadmaps

Conduct regular site audits and performance reviews to identify ranking, traffic, and conversion opportunities

Collaborate with Strategy and Delivery teams to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented effectively and aligned to client goals

Content & Search Strategy

Lead keyword research, search intent analysis, and content opportunity mapping

Define content recommendations across PDPs, PLPs, blogs, guides, and editorial content, balancing SEO best practices with brand voice and UX

Support pillar content and long-tail strategies that drive sustainable organic growth

Collaborate with writers, agencies, and partners to produce and optimize high-quality content

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) & Emerging Search

Contribute to Domaine’s evolving approach to AI-powered discovery and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

Help adapt SEO strategies to changing search behaviors across traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms

Stay current on algorithm updates, emerging tools, and industry best practices

Business Development & Internal Enablement

Support sales and pre-sales efforts by contributing to audits, opportunity sizing, and SEO growth narratives

Help educate internal teams on SEO fundamentals and best practices to strengthen client outcomes

Keyword and content recommendations to support brand visibility and lead generation

Performance monitoring, reporting, and insight development

Collaboration on content initiatives such as the "Shopify News" strategy

SKILLS Required

Strong, well-rounded SEO experience across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy

Demonstrated ability to develop keyword strategies and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog and keyword research platforms

Ability to analyze performance data and communicate clear, prioritized insights

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, build-and-scale environment

Nice to Have

Experience working with ecommerce brands (Shopify experience strongly preferred)

Exposure to AI applications in SEO or content strategy, including GEO concepts

Experience collaborating with writers, agencies, and cross-functional partners
