Overview Following the launch of our new social blogging app, ThingsBook, in the United States & Canada, we are now focused on scaling the platform and enhancing the user experience. You will join a small, agile U.S.-based team of approximately 10 members, working in close partnership with a dedicated development team of about 30 members located in Korea. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a live product in a fast‑paced environment while benefiting from the stability and resources of a global technology leader.

Key Responsibilities The Influencer Marketing Specialist will build a powerful community of lifestyle content creators, book lovers, collectors, and everyday storytellers who bring ThingsBook to life. This role owns end‑to‑end influencer strategy, outreach, negotiations, content review, and reporting across paid and earned programs.

Influencer Strategy & Program Design

Define ThingsBook's approach to influencer marketing including strategies for seasonal moments, product launches, lifestyle trends, and evergreen community storytelling

Own annual influencer budget, contract workflows, and paid media support

Design and manage College Ambassador Program to build grassroots awareness and engagement on campus

Establish long‑term partnership structures with key influencers including tiered compensation models, exclusive perks, and ongoing collaboration frameworks

Oversee influencer community building initiatives including private creator groups, feedback loops, and exclusive events

Influencer Sourcing, Vetting & Negotiation

Identify influencers across lifestyle, book, collection, and creative communities whose content style and audience align with ThingsBook's brand ethos

Leverage platforms and tools to source creators, evaluate performance, and negotiate fair rates

Build long‑term relationships with influencers, agents, and managers

Campaign & Content Management

Manage end‑to‑end execution of influencer campaigns: briefing, reviewing content, providing feedback, and driving approvals

Ensure content feels real and authentic to the creator - NOT overly polished, scripted, or product forward

Measurement & Reporting

Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, video completion, saves, shares, and app installs

Use data to optimize future strategies and demonstrate program impact

Build custom reports for cross‑functional teams summarizing results and learnings

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with the Social Media and Marketing team members to ensure influencer content aligns with brand priorities, campaign messaging, and is integrated into organic channels

Collaborate with Product and Community teams on creator seeding programs and feature launches

Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of influencer/creator marketing experience within lifestyle, social media platforms, creator economy, or tech

Strong track record of managing influencer campaigns with measurable results

Deep understanding of lifestyle creator culture, collection content formats, and platform trends (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with talent and agents

Strong negotiation skills for contracts, deliverables, and rates

Ability to manage budget, reporting, and multiple crater workflows simultaneously

Proficient with influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools

Willingness and ability to travel for events and on‑site collaborations as needed

Preferred Skills

Experience as a content creator or deep understanding of the content creation process from a creator's perspective

Agency background with experience managing multiple client campaigns or creator rosters

Familiarity with creator economy platforms and tools (e.g. CreatorIQ, DashSocial)

Experience building and managing ambassador or campus marketing programs

Work arrangement: Hybrid (In-office and remote)

Pay Range: $64K -$80K per year

Candidates who pass the initial HR screening will be invited to complete a brief take-home assignment
