Key responsibilities will include: Practice strategy and business managementServe as a senior thought partner to TMT NAMR leadership (RPAL, topic leads, nodes), shaping strategic choices and trade-offsCo-create the regional strategy and annual plan, translating strategic priorities into a coherent operating agendaSteward the regional commercial strategy, using business signals to inform leadership decisions and course correctionIntegrate perspectives across leadership and teams to drive the evolution of the North American TMT businessCommercial planning and client developmentDevelop forward-looking insight into the commercial pipeline, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic inflection pointsSynthesize business data into leadership-relevant insights and recommendationsAdvise proposal and case teams on strategic positioning, storytelling, and differentiationShape client prioritization and account strategies in partnership with regional leadershipMarketing, affiliation, and engagementShape the regional narrative for TMT, influencing how the practice shows up with clients and in the marketPartner with Marketing to define thought leadership priorities, flagship publications, and high-impact eventsSet the direction for regional marketing and internal communications to reinforce strategic prioritiesLeadership forums and decision cadenceDesign leadership forums and agendas to drive alignment, decision-making, and momentum on strategic prioritiesOrchestrate major regional meetings to advance strategy, not just share updatesEnsure leadership and affiliate communications reinforce a consistent, strategic storylinePeople strategy and global integrationShape the regional people strategy, aligning talent, capability building, and staffing to future business needsPartner with Global TMT People and Talent leaders to influence career paths, capability investments, and capacity planningLead a global practice-area workstream over time, contributing to firmwide strategy and innovationAct as a connector between regional and global TMT leadership to align priorities and accelerate impactYou’re good atOperating effectively amid ambiguity and competing prioritiesWorking autonomously with strong ownership and follow-through in a global, matrixed environmentInfluencing senior leaders and aligning diverse viewpoints under tight timelinesDriving complex initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through executionManaging multiple workstreams while delivering insight-driven, practical outcomesDesigning and delivering people, affiliation, and engagement initiativesLeading through influence, building cross-practice partnerships, and driving consensusMotivating and mentoring others to deliver high standardsWhat You'll Bring10-12+ years of relevant experience; prior consulting and/or professional services experience a plusMaster’s degree preferredProven ability to independently own complex areas of accountabilityExperience leading multi-stakeholder projects or sub-functions with limited oversightStrong business judgment and ability to resolve non-defined problems autonomouslyCredibility, strong interpersonal skills, and senior-level presenceAbility to influence senior Practice Area leadership and beyondDiscretion in handling sensitive client, firm, and people informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel Who You'll Work WithPractice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG’s industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently. As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.Additional infoIn the US, we have a compensation transparency approach. Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.The base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $193,300This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
