The Marketing team is looking for a Department Assistant! This role will support the Marketing and Communications team by providing administrative, organizational, and project coordination support across campaigns, communications, and events. This role helps keep projects on track by managing timelines, coordinating requests, organizing content, and supporting day-to-day department operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a collaborative environment. Qualifications Required: Minimum of one (1) of the following: One (1) year experience in an administrative or coordinator role One (1) year experience supporting marketing, communications, events, or project coordination One (1) year experience in customer service, reception, retail, or similar fast-paced environment Post-high school education or vocational training in marketing, communications, business, or related field Preferred: Experience supporting marketing, communications, public relations, or event planning Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools Experience working in a healthcare or nonprofit environment Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational and project coordination skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality-control skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn marketing and project management platforms. Job Specific Duties

Marketing Department Administrative & Operational Support: Provides administrative and project coordination support for the Marketing and Communications team. Coordinates day-to-day workflow, timelines, and communication across marketing projects. Assists with maintaining marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and project trackers. Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, and captures notes or action items as needed. Maintains organized digital files, templates, and department documentation. Marketing & Communications Support: Assists with coordination of marketing campaigns, internal communications, and promotional initiatives. Supports content collection and organization for newsletters, social media, website updates, and internal communications. Coordinates requests from internal departments for marketing support and ensures timely routing and follow-up. Assists with proofreading and quality review of marketing materials to ensure accuracy and brand consistency. Helps prepare marketing packets, presentations, and promotional materials. Event & Project Coordination: Provides logistical support for events, outreach activities, and marketing initiatives. Assists with event planning tasks such as tracking RSVPs, preparing materials, coordinating vendors, and day-of support. Tracks deliverables and deadlines across multiple projects and communicates updates to the team. Data Tracking & Reporting: Assists with tracking marketing requests, project status, and campaign metrics. Maintains spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools for departmental use. Supports collection of data for marketing reports and presentations. Department Support & Collaboration: Serves as a point of contact for internal inquiries to the Marketing Department. Assists with onboarding support and training coordination for new team members as applicable. Provides backup support to other administrative or marketing team members as needed. Orders and maintains inventory of marketing materials and office supplies. Shift: Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America) Schedule: Monday - Friday, Approximately 8:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M. Occasional schedule flexibility may be needed to support events, campaigns, or departmental priorities. Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
