
Senior Executive Assistant
SABG is currently seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to support the US Space Force Deputy Chief of Space Operations, Strategy, Plans, Programs and Requirements (SF/S5/8) in Washington, DC. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Aid with review of all executive email; forward emails to appropriate SF/S5/8 staff; follow up with staff for action items and reminders Assist with updates and send daily Internet Quorum/Executive Secretariat (IQ/ESEC) task log Draft correspondence for the SF/S5/8 Draft, update and distribute agendas for Staff meetings, Ops Team Meeting and other meetings Assist with Congressional responses or letters Support travel needs, addressing schedules, drafting travel authorizations, making reservations, completing vouchers Provide supporting information to staff-provided materials Assist SF/S5/8 Action Group in developing strategic communications and consistent program narratives for budget development and justification Schedule office meetings and reoccurring meetings with other offices and assist with scheduling and set up for meetings Organize, gather and distribute materials for SF/S5/8 meetings Supervision: No supervisory responsibilities. Education And/Or Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of executive support experience within the scope of the listed tasks, as well as strategic communications experience Computer Skills: Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel) is necessary. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Access. Competencies: Problem Solving Written Communication Diversity Ethics Planning/Organizing Professionalism Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Work Environment: Job duties are performed in a manufacturing/office environment utilizing standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, and telephone. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
