The Assistant Fitness Director (AFD) position is responsible for assisting the Fitness Director in personal training sales and maintaining the quality of the training services provided to members. Duties And Responsibilities

Leadership And Sales Achieve personal training sales goals consistently. Responsible for overseeing the personal training schedule of members, ensuring attendance, punctuality, and company policies are followed. Serve as a brand ambassador demonstrating passion for physical exercise through regular club use. Maintain and reinforce professional standards, such as having a positive attitude, dressing in uniform, arriving on time, and respecting team members. Personal Training Service Monitor the quality of personal training sessions provided by trainers to members. Obtain feedback from personal training clients and take necessary corrective actions to provide an extraordinary service. Facility Maintenance Daily inspections of club facilities and equipment to ensure impeccable cleanliness, proper equipment condition, and adequate inventory of materials. Demonstrate personal commitment to the constant maintenance of the facility. Requirements

Candidate must possess a high school diploma / GED and 1 year of sales experience (mandatory). Recognized national personal training certification (ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM as examples). Must have CPR, first aid, and DRD certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire). Must be able to adequately demonstrate and execute the physical demands of the job including, but not limited to, repetitive movements, such as arranging weights (40 lbs.) to keep the floor clean; regular use of cleaning equipment and physical activity related to maintaining a clean facility. High degree of initiative and motivation; dynamic person who can work independently and as a team. Strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism. Flexible schedule - may include weekends and/or nights. Excellent customer service and communication. Benefits
