
Invoicing Specialist

The invoicing specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate billing of customer orders, including sales adjustments and audits when required. Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers Process credit memos related to inventory returns, customer deposits, or other adjustments Review and analyze AR aging and send monthly statements to customers, addressing and resolving billing discrepancies Ensure new customers are established in accordance with internal policies Reconcile tax accounts, accrue, and submit tax reports Assist with collecting exemption or resale certificates from customers and provide sales tax exemption certificates to vendors Manage the shared e-mail box and respond to requests in a timely manner Maintain strong working relationships with external customers and internal partners Model a continuous improvement mindset, identifying process improvements and efficiencies Assist with month-end close tasks Follow SOX procedures and company policies and procedures About You
High school diploma or GED required, post high school education preferred 3+ years of relevant work experience required Strong computer skills including MRP/ERP systems and MS Office; prior experience with Winman is a plus Prior sales tax experience preferred Excellent data entry speed and accuracy Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements
