As a Server at Society 1854 located in the Omaha Marriott Downtown, you will tailor the dining experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction.

What will you be doing?
- Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
- Understand menu including ingredients and preparation of the dishes to the delivery and service expected to accompany the dish.
- Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
- Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
- Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
- Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
What do you bring to the role?
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Must have high level knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, etiquette, appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.
- One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet preferred.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions.
- Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations.
- Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holiday and have reliable transportation to and from work
