
Amazon Account Manager (Seattle)

The Amazon Account Manager will own the day-to-day management, growth strategy, and execution for Canada and other international Amazon marketplaces. This role is responsible for driving revenue, optimizing performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all assigned Amazon channels. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, a strong analytical background, and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate growth in a complex eCommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account Ownership & Strategy • Lead the full Amazon Canada & Global account portfolio, serving as the primary business owner and point of contact. • Develop strategic growth plans, including assortment expansion, pricing strategy, promotional planning, and channel profitability. • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and category dynamics to identify new opportunities.
Business Performance Management • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance tracking, including sales, profitability, and operational KPIs. • Monitor and optimize product detail pages (SEO, content, images, A+), ensuring brand consistency and conversion improvements. • Oversee promotional campaigns (e.g., Prime Day, Cyber events, Lightning Deals), evaluating ROI and performance impact.
Operational Execution • Manage day-to-day operations including forecasting, purchase orders, chargeback prevention, inventory availability, supply chain communication, and catalog management. • Partner with operations to resolve logistics issues such as out-of-stocks, late shipments, and compliance risks. • Ensure accuracy and timely updates of item setup, variations, and content across marketplaces.
Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Amazon category, vendor, and marketplace teams. • Serve as the primary account liaison, communicating business objectives, opportunities, and operational updates clearly and proactively.
Analytics & Reporting • Use Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA), Vendor Central/Seller Central dashboards, and internal BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to generate actionable insights. • Deliver reporting to senior leadership including growth drivers, risks, and recommendations. • Proactively identify performance issues and lead cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Qualifications & Experience
• 2+ years of experience managing Amazon accounts (Amazon.ca or international Amazon marketplaces required). • Strong command of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, ARA, and Amazon Ads ecosystem. • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability on Amazon. • Highly analytical with strong Excel or BI tool proficiency (Power BI preferred). • Excellent communication skills, with proven experience influencing internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. • Consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce background strongly preferred.
