Senior Marketing Manager – B2B Financial Publishing - New York City

(hybrid) - 3 days in New York City office per week (Mon, Tues, Weds)

*You must have at least 6 years' B2B Marketing experience within Publishing, subscriptions, events, and/or market intelligence products to be considered for this role*

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in B2B publishing, events and information products as a Senior Marketing Manager. Working with the Marketing Director, you will help develop and deliver the marketing strategy across a portfolio of B2B subscription news & intelligence products, events, membership and client marketing solutions.

Managing a small team of marketers, you will create the marketing strategy and execute campaigns to generate customer acquisition, growth and retention across the portfolio.

Your experience

  • 6+ years B2B subscriptions / events / publishing / information services / SaaS marketing experience
  • Proven experience of building and managing marketing small teams
  • Experience working closely with sales / business development functions
  • Good knowledge of customer data analytics and the ability to convert data into meaningful insight
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and strategies
  • Strong experience working with Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Strong experience with campaign management systems (e.g. Pardot, Marketo, etc) and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Experience optimizing performance across paid, website and email
  • Good knowledge on other acquisition channels and levers (PPC, social – LinkedIn, retargeting, direct mail, events, list research)
  • IT Literate; MS office, advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

What You'll Do

  • Own marketing strategy for a portfolio spanning subscriptions, networks, events, and sponsorships
  • Develop deep audience insights and identify untapped growth opportunities
  • Partner with Product and Events teams to launch new offerings
  • Design quarterly campaigns across the customer journey—acquisition through renewal

Execution

  • Build sophisticated programs: nurturing, account expansion, and ABM for high-value accounts
  • Leverage email, social, PPC, events, content, and advertising to drive pipeline
  • Create compelling, benefit-driven messaging that cuts through the noise
  • Optimize marketing tech stack (Marketo, CRM, web platforms) for maximum impact

Leadership

  • Lead and develop a small team of marketers
  • Manage budgets strategically, maximizing ROI
  • Deliver actionable performance insights that drive continuous improvement
