JR100531This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, working from the office in Doral (and more during Latin GRAMMY season).# **WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**The Latin Recording Academy and Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation is looking for a bilingual, experienced, music industry professional with a passion for Latin music and its creators with experience working in the music or entertainment industry. Reporting to the Director, Artist & Industry Relations, the Senior Coordinator will assist with all talent relations activities, fostering and maintaining positive relationships with the community of Latin music creators and the music industry in general. In providing exceptional support and service to internal teams, you are quick and adjust seamlessly to shifting priorities, influence key decision-makers, and thrive in a collaborative and entrepreneurial business environment. You have ability to execute efficiently and aggressively.# **WHAT YOU'LL DO*** Keep internal teams informed of relevant industry trends, updates, and news that may influence Academy initiatives.* Coordinate artist participation in showcases, events, and special appearances alongside cross-functional internal teams.* Support on-site logistics for staff artists, special guests, and talent teams, hosting meet & greets as needed.* Ensure all artist deliverables are fulfilled and troubleshoot issues promptly.* Maintain and continuously update the artist and industry database to ensure accuracy.* Consolidate artist inquiries and requests into a streamlined, single line of communication.* Manage industry calendars and timelines across departments.* Collaborate with internal departments on the development and execution of artist-related contracts and agreements.* Manage and secure approvals from talent and teams for all content (photos, scripts, videos, bios, press releases, ads) used across multiple platforms.* Help lead informational sessions for record labels, artists, members, and publicists regarding the Latin GRAMMY process and opportunities for participation.* Help deploy official communications to publicists and management teams about Academy processes, procedures, expectations, and event-week logistics.* Work with the Communications lead to help manage publicity opportunities and address potential issues around Academy events (e.g., red carpets, talent movement).# **SKILLS & EXPERIENCE*** Bachelor’s degree in music business, public relations, marketing, or related.* 2+ years professional work experience in the music industry required.* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish a must. Portuguese a plus.* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to connect with people.* Exceptional judgment when working with artist’s teams and internal team members.* Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle many tasks at one time while changing gears quickly.* Must be self-motivated with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced team environment.* Ability to manage and retain highly confidential information.* Availability and willingness to sometimes work non-traditional hours, weekends, and travel.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS FOR CERTAIN ROLES**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
