Senior Media Lead, Americas, Global Media, Amazon Leo
At Amazon, we’re inventing on behalf of customers, and with Amazon Leo, we’re redefining what global connectivity looks like. Our mission is to deliver fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world through a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. Every system we build helps connect people to education, healthcare, opportunity, and each other.
The Amazon Leo Marketing Team is seeking an exceptional Mediaist to architect and execute transformational integrated marketing campaigns across all customer segments in The Americas. This is an opportunity to scale a brand at Amazon's level—shaping how millions of people will experience and adopt satellite broadband connectivity as the category continues to evolve.
In this strategic role, you'll be the architect of our brand equity across The Americas, designing and executing sophisticated multi‑channel media strategies that span targeted digital channels, traditional broadcast, print, and out‑of‑home. You'll have the autonomy and resources to make bold decisions that will define how we reach market across diverse customer segments.
Key job responsibilities
Build brand equity at scale: Design integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen Amazon Leo's presence across consumer, business, and government segments throughout The Americas
Drive measurable brand impact: Move the needle on brand health metrics while building sustainable, long‑term growth engines
Orchestrate complex media journeys: Balance mass media brand‑building with performance‑driven tactics across digital and offline channels
Think globally, execute regionally: Develop Americas‑specific strategies that ladder up to our global brand vision while respecting local market nuances
Partner cross‑functionally: Collaborate with product, sales, creative, analytics, and regional teams to ensure cohesive go‑to‑market execution
Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life You’ll blend strategic thinking with hands‑on execution—analyzing campaign performance data, reconciling media investments against business targets, and refining demand models with analytics teams. You’ll coordinate between media agencies and creative teams, lead cross‑functional strategy sessions, and present Americas‑specific approaches to leadership. You’ll explain both causation and mechanism: why multi‑channel strategies matter for reaching underserved communities and how your media mix drives brand health and business growth. Throughout, you balance big‑picture brand strategy with tactical optimization, always keeping the mission front and center.
About the team The Amazon Leo Marketing Team operates at the intersection of brand strategy and mission‑driven impact. Within that we're a lean team of portfolio media strategists who think in systems, not channels, with deep expertise in building brands through mass media and proven track records moving brand health metrics that translate to business growth. We're equally comfortable presenting to C‑suite executives and optimizing campaign performance. Our culture values strategic rigor, cross‑functional collaboration, and customer obsession.
