Join our team.## Job ProfileThe Supervisor is responsible for the efficient execution of medium scale foundation projects, these projects involve at least three (3) work disciplines and can have up to then (10) workers employed at one time. The Supervisor has good knowledge in the field of deep foundation installation and shoring projects and is developing the skill and experience required to lead much larger projects and beginning to cultivate effective interpersonal leadership skills.

#applytoday## Job Duties* Lead all site construction functions including quality and safety* Responsible for the safe work planning for all tasks being executed on a project* Complete site inspections on a regular basis to ensure a hazard free workplace* Ensure emergency response plans are in place* Ensure compliance to all construction specifications and procedures* Responsible for solving problems as they arise with client partners construction team* Ensure company safety policies and procedure are practiced through mentorship and enforced through disciplinary process if required* Understand and continually review company policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness* Ensure equipment assigned to projects under your authority is kept in good repair* Create 10–15-day lookahead manpower and equipment forecast* Cultivate positive and collaborative working relationships with employees, managers, clients, and vendors* Provide employee performance feedback to applicable managers to ensure continual improvement through training and performance evaluations* Ensure client and regulatory quality standards are met or exceed expectations* Prepare commercial documents including field tickets; assist with change management quantity identification* Provides guidance to trades staff and is responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by developing and monitoring performance against the agreed upon project plans and schedule and the delegates work to trades people.* Provide training and guidance in the field on DFI Policies and SOP’s* Dispatch coverage in branch when needed and not on a project* Travel between Houston, TX and Williston, ND## Qualifications* Knowledge of DFI field operations including pile installation, drilling and welding* 1+ years of experience in a General Foreman position, overseeing piling projects with at least two disciplines and up to 6 workers* Developing understanding of welding and survey procedures and techniques* Developing understanding of engineering terminology and able to interpret piling construction drawings and notes fluently* Plan and oversee execution of pile testing techniques and procedures Ambitious and self-driven with the ability to promote a collaborative environment* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Identify and resolves issues effectively – communicating and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.* Passionate about improving their knowledge, skills, mindset, and outlook, each day.* Experienced in forecasting lookaheads for projects 10-15 days in advance* Time management skills and ability to prioritize projects, as necessary.* Good written and verbal communication skills* Competent use of Microsoft Excel* Experience using MS Office and a variety of online management tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
