Hardware Asset Management Business Analyst

This role is a Hardware Asset Management Business Analyst for a contract position in Frankfort, KY, with a pay rate of $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of experience in hardware asset management, and strong data analytics skills. This is a contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Responsibilities

Asset location tracking: keeping a detailed record of where assets are located. Receiving new assets: using ITAM software to capture real‑time information such as model, serial number, purchase date, warranty info, and location. Inventory management: tracking stock levels and distribution, and alerting staff when stock is low. Hardware asset lifecycle policy: establishing policies for deployment and disposal activities. Reporting: providing detailed reports for all assets contained within our current ITSM system. Compliance: resolving compliance issues. Qualifications

Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Strong data analytics skills, with experience performing in‑depth analysis related to hardware asset management. Experience working in a large‑scale enterprise environment for Federal, State, or Local governments or related private sector entities. Proven researching ability. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 4 years direct work experience in hardware asset management. IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience – ServiceNow knowledge is a plus. Forklift certification is a plus. Asset management professional certifications are a plus. Benefits
