Role Overview This position oversees all aspects of project planning, execution, delivery and installation of residential lighting, shading and controls projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Success is Defined By

Providing strategic leadership and direction to the project management team, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Developing and implementing project management policies, procedures and best practices to optimize delivery processes and drive continuous improvement.

Leading planning, execution and monitoring of all residential lighting, shading and controls projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—including project design, lighting design, installation and business development—to define project requirements, scope and deliverables.

Establishing effective communication channels with stakeholders, including customers, executive leadership and sales team members, to provide regular updates and address issues.

Managing risks and dependencies, proactively identifying obstacles and developing mitigation strategies.

Fostering a culture of accountability, transparency and collaboration within the project management team.

Mentoring and coaching project managers and team members, providing guidance and support for professional development.

Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to recognize achievements and address improvement areas.

Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in residential lighting, shading and controls and incorporating insights into methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or a related field.

PMP certification preferred.

8–10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience leading cross‑functional coordination with construction counterparts to align schedules, manage dependencies and maintain quality.

Proven track record of managing complex luxury residential projects from initiation to completion, delivering on time and within budget.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, motivating and inspiring team members.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.

Experience in the lighting industry or a related field is a plus.

Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Agile, Waterfall or Asana.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Travel requirement: 50% or more.

Compensation Range: $141,000 – $150,000
