About the role As a Gen AI Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing scalable, innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI, AWS cloud services, and Snowflake. You will be a valued member of our architecture and engineering team, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners to integrate AI/ML capabilities, automate deployments, and enhance system performance.

In this role, you will:

Design and develop scalable architectures using Generative AI, AWS services, and Snowflake.

Integrate AI and machine learning solutions into existing systems in partnership with cross‑functional teams.

Implement AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, and CodeBuild to automate deployment workflows.

Use AWS Machine Learning services to develop predictive models that generate actionable business insights.

Provide technical leadership on AI/ML use cases, solution design, performance optimization, and best practices.

Validate and test AI/ML models ensuring accuracy, reliability, and real‑world applicability.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.

Create documentation and training materials to support knowledge transfer across the team.

Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to drive code quality.

Translate business needs into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.

Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection requirements.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Hartford, CT each week. What you need to have to be considered

Proven experience designing scalable architectures using AWS services, Snowflake, and Generative AI.

Strong background in AI/ML solution development, including model validation and deployment.

Hands‑on experience with AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodeBuild).

Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and translate complex technical concepts.

Strong problem‑solving skills with experience optimizing system performance and reliability.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation and training materials.

These will help you stand out

Experience integrating AI/ML into enterprise‑scale systems.

Knowledge of Snowflake data pipelines and advanced cloud data architectures.

Familiarity with emerging Generative AI frameworks and their practical applications.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering teams.

A passion for staying current with AI, ML, and AWS advancements.

Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
