Job Summary The Commercial Lines Sr. Broker has responsibilities in growing organic revenue for the Atlantic Region, Middle Market clients through an integrated selling strategy. In this role, you will manage sales results, maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospect stakeholders. Manage a small team of Account Managers while being a lead in the marketplace and broking the business.

This is a full‑time remote position, working on EST time zone, M-F. Candidates should ideally be in the mid-Atlantic or East Coast for the ability and feasibility to travel to client meetings or to our designated offices, if required. Title and salary will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and execute broking strategies for Middle Market accounts.

Negotiate terms and pricing with carriers; resolve placement challenges.

Develop and maintain strong carrier and client relationships.

Ensure compliance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Broking Lead and Head of Brokerage on portfolio initiatives.

Coach and develop Associate Broker/s; delegate tasks effectively

Support prospecting, cross‑sell, and up‑sell opportunities.

Drive utilization of preferred carriers, panels, and strategic programs.

Contribute to achieving team KPIs: growth, retention, margin.

Coordinate with underwriters.

Leads sales activities with P&C middle market clients and prospects.

Implement sales plans and budgets for the Atlantic region and strategic goals and standards.

Negotiates coverage terms and pricing with carriers.

Reviews sales results with other members of the sales team, strategizing changes and troubleshooting problems.

Confers with VP and senior management on setting and achieving integrated selling targets.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

Deep market knowledge of Commercial Line and industry insights, carriers, products and services

Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs

Effective time management and decision‑making skills

Diligent follow‑up skills

Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications

Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Commanding presentation and public speaking and negotiation skills

When working from home, you must maintain a confidential workspace and high‑speed internet

Education and/or Experience

More than 10 years of Commercial lines servicing/sales and industry experience

Related supervisor, management or mentor/training experience

BA/BS preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

P&C license required upon hire

The base salary range for this position is $62,000-$100,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
