As an Architectural Designer, you’ll assist on a wide range of project types, working to sell the design vision through 3D modeling and rendering. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a competitive drive to help us win work and someone who thrives in a collaborative culture. The ability to work effectively as a team member on a variety of tasks, including design, modeling, drawing, and documentation, is paramount. For this role, individuals with visualization skills and proficiency in Lumion, D5, Revit, and SketchUp will excel. Will contribute to Generator’s existing client work and new proposals through high-quality visualization, including renderings, diagrams, and 3D models. Will be a valued voice in bringing new ideas and programs to the team, contributing to efficiency and professional development. Solve problems. Anticipate and identify problems and resolve issues that arise throughout the process. Sometimes work independently, other times highly collaboratively with team members. Undertake a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of larger projects. Champion good design. Advocate for maintaining a healthy design culture where all are engaged, collaborating, and advancing design. Work closely with Project Managers, Project Architects, and others to support the design process, including designing, drawing, modeling, and documenting. Apply graphic standards to communicate intent clearly. Assist with in-office CA tasks as applicable to projects and project teams. Impact all stages of a project, from schematic design through construction. Make timely changes from review sessions. This Role is For You if You:

Love creating photorealistic renderings, concept diagrams, and building 3D models. Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-accredited institution. Are proficient in Lumion, D5, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. Enjoy design and the freedom to create—we trust you and your skills. While this is an entry-level job, you’ll get many opportunities to design. Can apply graphic standards to communicate intent clearly.
